Crazy Swing is a dance school dedicated to Lindy Hop and swing dancing, currently based at ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijk with a public expansion to Leiden in preparation.
We believe swing dancing should be accessible, joyful, and social, regardless of your background or experience level.
What we teach
We teach Lindy Hop, the swing dance that originated in Harlem in the late 1920s.
It’s an improvised partner dance rooted in jazz music, built on connection, rhythm, and playfulness. We also draw on Charleston and solo jazz movement depending on the level and the group.
Lindy Hop is ideal for beginners: the basic vocabulary is simple, the learning curve is gentle, and the rewards come quickly.
Our approach
- We rotate partners in every class, no need to come with someone
- We start from scratch every beginner course, it’s never too late to join
- We keep groups small so everyone gets real attention
- We focus on social dancing, not performance
